At Wardhouse we are dedicated to helping you to achieve your riding aims from learning rising trot to competing at affiliated competitions - we cater for everyone.
We are the most qualified riding establishment in the area with our team ranging from a BHSAI to a BHSI. Our team is experienced in teaching all levels of riders and we offer a clear progression throughout your lessons with us.
Need a bit more info on what to wear for your first lesson, and what we can provide? Why not check out our blog to get the low down.
As well as offering lessons we host other activities such as:
Perfect for younger riders, or beginners, pony walks are a fun way to get into riding.
A member of staff will take your child out on a lead rein for a lovely walk through the woods and down our track.
Keep an eye out for wildlife such as deer, birds, grey squirrels, and more.
Coffee and Canter
Thursdays 6.30pm - 8pm
Two of the best things in life combined - coffee and horses!
Come along to our group riding lesson, which includes some horse care too. Followed by a coffee and a chat (and maybe even a cheeky biscuit or two) in our heated log cabin.
This group is for riders who can canter, even if you're just starting out!
1 hour group for riders who are confidently riding off the lead rein and able to commit to riding weekly.
Masterclass is taught by Louise or Kate, and a great opportunity to refine riding technique.
Spaces are limited so please speak to staff for more info.
